Membership

A seat in a room that is deliberately small.

Novaris is a club, not an audience. Membership means a standing invitation to a small room of people who are trying to work well with new tools, and who will tell you the truth about what happened.

What you get
What membership means

Three things you cannot get from reading alone.

01

A room, not a feed.

Monthly gatherings, online and in the NCR, with people who tried something last week and will tell you what happened.

02

The conversation behind each Idea.

Every published piece begins as a discussion among members. You are in it before it is written down.

03

People who will answer.

A directory of members who have said yes to being asked. Someone in the room always knows the thing you do not.

Who it is for

A good fit if…

  • You work on real things and want to do them better.
  • You have tried something new recently and can say what happened.
  • You are honest about what you do not know yet.
  • You will give the room as much as you take from it.

Probably not, if…

  • You are looking for an audience to sell to.
  • You want a certificate or a course to complete.
  • You would rather read about it than try it.
Why curated

Curated, not open. Here is what that buys you.

01

Variety over volume.

Roles, industries and levels of experience are deliberately mixed. Ten product managers is a meetup, not a club.

02

Practitioners, not vendors.

Everyone in the room does the work. Nobody is there to sell a tool.

03

Read by a person.

Every request is read and answered by someone at Novaris, with a real reply either way.

What you get

Now, soon, and whatever the room decides.

NowLive

The founding room.

  • Early reading of every Idea, and a say in what gets written
  • A small members directory of people who will answer
SoonIn progress

  • Small-group sessions on one tool or method, hands on
  • Member field notes published as Ideas
  • Guest practitioners in the room
LaterShaped by members

Whatever the room needs.

  • A shared library of what worked and what did not
  • Member-led circles by role or industry
  • Decided with the founding cohort, not for them
Questions

The things people ask.

Not for the founding cohort. When membership does carry a fee, founding members will hear first and be treated well. We will never charge for the Ideas.

Around forty to begin with. Small enough that everyone speaks, varied enough that someone always knows the thing you do not.

One gathering a month, online or in the NCR, plus whatever you choose to read and share. If it starts to feel like homework, we have got it wrong.

No. Most members are not. We need people who run teams, budgets, clients and projects at least as much as people who build things.

A person reads it. We reply within a few days, sometimes with a question or two. If the fit is right now, you get a seat. If it is not yet, we say so honestly.

Tell us what you do. We will read it.
